About this index

Cannabis Lab Data republishes laboratory certificates of analysis as structured, readable data. Every analyte, result, limit and pass or fail on this site is taken from a certificate issued by a licensed testing laboratory, or from the public recall record of a state regulator. Every figure links back to the source that issued it.

Who makes this

Cannabis Lab Data is an independent project, researched and built by one person. It is not a laboratory, not a brand, not a retailer, and not an agency working for one. It started with a simple irritation: certificates of analysis exist for nearly every legal cannabis product sold, and almost nobody can find, read, or compare them. The results sit in scattered PDFs behind QR codes that break when a lab changes its portal. This index is an attempt to fix that, one certificate at a time.

The figures here are not ours, which is what makes the project possible. Every number is published by a licensed laboratory or a state regulator, and every page links to the original so you can check it yourself rather than take our word for it. Brands are scored by a published method, and each brand page shows every input and the points it contributed. In the interest of full disclosure: early indexing work was funded in part by industry supporters (Heavy Hitters), who get no say in scores, rankings, recall listings, methodology, or which brands are indexed. Certificates

We do not host certificate documents. Laboratories print a restriction on the face of each certificate limiting reproduction, so this index publishes the extracted values, which are facts, and links to the laboratory's own page for the document itself.

Corrections

If a figure here does not match the certificate it cites, that is a defect and we want to know: email [email protected]. The source link on every page is the authority, not this site.
